FAQ

What is Hope for Haiti?

Hope for Haiti is a concert series. We are not affiliated with the American Hope for Haiti. We are based in Toronto, Canada and showcase local talent. Our goal is to raise $50,000 through concert performances to aid Haiti’s relief and rebuilding efforts. Our first concert will take place at Innis Town Hall (2 Sussex Avenue, Toronto, ON) on Thursday, February 4th, 2010 at 7:30pm to 10:00pm.

Where do my donations go?

Hope for Haiti donates through the IDRF (International Development and Relief Fund) which is a registered Canadian charity. We have made arrangements for your donations to be used specifically for Haiti’s relief efforts.  As an indication of our excellent relationship, donations made to the IDRF through Hope for Haiti are tax deductible.

Who organizes Hope for Haiti?

The concert series is a collaborative effort of community organizers and volunteers. It is not formally owned by any business entity or organization. If you want to get in touch with the team, feel free to contact info@haiticoncert.com
