HOPE FOR HAITI

Hope for Haiti is a collaborative effort of community activists and talents. Our goal is to raise $50,000 through concert performances to aid Haiti’s relief and rebuilding efforts. Our first concert will take place at Innis Town Hall (2 Sussex Avenue, Toronto, ON) on Thursday, February 4th, 2010 at 7:30pm to 10:00pm.

The January 13, 2010 earthquake that has devastated the island nation of nine million and has also left most of its survivors without food, water and shelter. International aid efforts are under way in a bid to locate survivors; however, Haitian officials have estimated that the death toll could reach 200 000 casualties. Waves of severe aftershocks are likely increasing this number. Join us for a series of fundraising concerts through this local initiative, aimed at creating awareness for this cause. Help us raise desperately needed funds for a country that is badly in need.
